- MIL: Garo, Hindi, Khasi, Mizo, Nepali
- Any one of the elective subjects can be chosen as an Honours Subject. Preference
will be given to students opting for Honours
- Mass Communication and Video Production is available only as an Honours Subject
- To be eligible to choose an elective subject as an Honours Subject, the candidate must
obtain at least a second division and 50% marks in the respective subject at the qualifying examination
- Candidates for English or Economics as Honours Subjects must
obtain 55% in the aggregate and admission will based on the basis of en trance test
- Candidates of Mathematics as an Honours subject must obtain 60% in Mathematics in the qualifying examination.
- Students choosing English as an Honours Subject will not have General Engish
and MIL; however, they will have three elective subjects in addition to English
Honours (See Group 10)
- Students of Group 8 will not have English (2nd Paper) in the second year and
Alternative English / MIL (2nd Paper) in the third year
- Limited number of seats are available for girls who opt for honours in Economics
, Mass Communication, Mathematics, Statistics, Philosophy and English
- Admission is taken on a merit cum first-come-first-serve basis after the
applications are reviewed by a board set up for the purpose and/or a personal
interview with the Principal

Fees will be charged for 36 months for all Degree courses. The Session Fees, Laboratory Fees,
University Fees and six months' Tuiton Fees are to be paid on admission along with the Admission Fees within the
date given on the Admission Form. All fees and dues are to be deposited at the College Extention Counter
of the Central Bank of India, after the Fee Book has been countersigned at College Office No. 3. The fees are liable to be changed from
year to year.
