On 29th August 2025 The Department of Geology, St. Anthony’s College Shillong organised a half day interactive guest lecture. Prof. Raj Kumar Singh, School of Earth, Ocean and Climate Sciences, IIT Bhubhaneshwar, gave a captivating lecture focused on Quaternary geology, highlighting climate change studies, the formation of ice sheets in the Arctic and Antarctic, and the significance of oxygen isotope records in understanding past climatic shifts.
