As part of the Probites Launch, 32 Future Founders were felicitated by Hon’ble Chief Minister, Shri Conrad Kongkal Sangma, in recognition of their entrepreneurial spirit and contribution to Meghalaya’s growing innovation ecosystem. These student innovators and entrepreneurs, nurtured through St. Anthony’s College Centre for Entrepreneurship Innovation and Incubation (SACCEII)’s Business Incubation and Certificate Programme in Practical Entrepreneurship, were celebrated for their creativity, determination, and leadership in developing early-stage ventures.
Of the 32 Future Founders, 20 students have already launched and are actively running their businesses, while 12 have developed functional prototypes and are in the process of validating their ideas and preparing for market entry. This reflects the programme’s strong emphasis on practical outcomes and real-world impact.
As a token of appreciation for their hard work and resilience, the students were presented with beautifully designed mementoes and caps, symbolizing their journey as emerging entrepreneurs and change makers.
The event also featured a vibrant Student Venture Exhibition, where participants showcased a wide range of innovative products and prototypes—ranging from eco-friendly lifestyle brands and digital solutions to artisanal crafts and culinary ventures. The exhibition served as a dynamic platform for dialogue, feedback, and potential collaborations among students, visitors, and industry professionals
