A brief report of the ‘Felicitation programme of Ms Angelia N Marweiñ’ held on
2nd September, 2024 from 12:00 to 01:00 PM in the College Auditorium
St. Anthony’s College, Shillong on 2nd September, 2024 felicitated Angelia N
Marwein, a Post-Graduate student of Political Science Department, for being selected to
represent Meghalaya in the upcoming Femina Miss India 2024 competition.
The programme which was held in the College Auditorium was attended by the
College Faculty, Students and collaborators from Meepo Management.
The Principal in his speech lauded Ms Marweiñ’s journey from a dedicated student to
a multifaceted professional.
In her address, Marweiñ expressed her gratitude to her classmates, teachers and the
College for providing her a second family supporting throughout her journey. She also
expressed her gratitude to carry the legacy of the College as she competes in the Femina Miss
India 2024 pageant. It may also be mentioned that the winner of Femina Miss India 2024 will
represent India at the 73rd edition of the Miss World pageant.
