The Department of Biotechnology was the first among the colleges affiliated to NEHU to start the M.Sc. Biotechnology course.
The Department offers under-graduate programme - B.Sc. Honours in Biotechnology with a combination of Botany and Chemistry as subsidiary subjects.
In addition to that the Department also offers a 2-year programme leading to a Master's degree in Biotechnology.
