The Department of Business Administration was established on the 6th June 1998. When it was launched, it was the first course of its kind in Meghalaya and also of many states in the North East of India. This course is affiliated to the North Eastern Hill University. It was tailored along the patterns followed by the best institutes in the country. Today, there are 4 colleges offering this course in the University. This course is aimed at preparing the student to take up managerial positions with greater confidence and hones their life skills for the challenges ahead. The department collaborates with the department of Commerce and Computer Science.
