The Department of Computer Science offers a full time B.Sc course with honours in Computer Science. The department is the only one under the affiliating University to conduct the Master of Computer Applications(MCA) course with approval from AICTE. In addition to this, the department runs part time courses - Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications(PGDCA), Cisco Certified Network Associate(CCNA), apart from many other short term courses. The department also collaborates with the departments of Mass Communication, Commerce, Business Administration, Biotechnology, Mathematics, Statistics and Music to conduct computer related papers for the students from these departments.

- On 17th June 2017 : Organised a talk on "Goods and Services Tax (GST) - Implications and Impact" which was delivered by Dr.Prakash Borgohain, IRS, Office of the Central Excise and Service Tax, Shillong.
- Organised a "Talk on Current Trends in Computer Science and Applications" on 9th March 2015.
- Organised Lecture on Data Science on 24th April 2015.
- Inter-College Debate Competition organized by the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), Meghalaya in-collaboration with Department of Computer Science, St. Anthony's College Shillong on 6th July 2015.
- A Detailed Survey, Analysis on the quality of IT Education in the Rural and Urban Schools of East Khasi Hills of Meghalaya and Composition of Video Tutorials in English and Khasi to improve imparting Computer Lessons to students. (Duration: 2 years)
